MALVERN, PA — November 14, 2019 — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced the launch of three of the company’s smallest new commercial IHLPs to date® Ultra-thin, high-current inductors—IHLP-1212AZ-01, IHLP-1212AB-01, and IHLP1212BZ-01. The Vishay Dale IHLP-1212AZ-01, IHLP-1212AB-01, and IHLP-1212BZ-01 feature a 3.3 mm x 3.3 mm 1212 form factor, saving space in computer and telecommunications system applications, with a height of only 1.0 mm.
The devices released today are used for energy storage in DC/DC converters at frequencies up to 5 MHz. At the same time, the Inductor has excellent noise attenuation performance in high current filtering applications in the self-resonant frequency (SRF) range. Applications include notebooks, desktops, servers, small high-current power supplies, and distributed power systems and FPGAs.
The IHLP-1212AZ-01, IHLP-1212AB-01, and IHLP-1212BZ-01 lead packages feature a 100% lead (Pb)-free shielded composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra-low levels and is immune to thermal shock, humidity, and mechanical vibration. Strong resistance to high transient current spikes without saturation. The inductors are RoHS and Vishay Green compliant and halogen free.
Device Specification Sheet:
Samples and production quantities of the new inductors are available now, with lead times of eight weeks for bulk orders.
