Fully automatic tool setting system for precision parts processing

Precision parts processing is to complete a variety of processes in automatic state numerical control equipment, mainly for some fixed mass production operations. But for the Mold industry and small batch production units, don’t go to the machining center at all times. Many manufacturers buy machining centers for use as CNC milling.

Using the tool magazine is very simple in terms of the cost of the CNC system, but the spindle and tool magazine, air compressor, and various tool holders will increase the cost, and programming and adjusting the tool magazine will also take corresponding time. Therefore, try not to use machining centers for the production of less than one or two hundred workpieces of the same variety, because of high cost and low efficiency.

Precision parts processing can use a fully automatic tool setting system, the tool is loaded up, one button, the machine tool automatically measures the tool, and the machine is directly processed. The error is within 0.001~.0003mm, which is not much slower than the automatic time change. If it is a precision parts machining center, but the machine tool without automatic tool setting device is compared with the machine tool without tool magazine but with automatic tool setting device, the efficiency in practice of the latter is much higher than the former.

For the domestic manufacturing industry, especially for mold manufacturers, it is generally single-piece production and sufficient labor resources. Therefore, for the processing of small batch industrial parts, the value of capital should be fully considered, and processing centers should not be used at will equipment. What’s more, there are basically many problems in the tool magazines of domestic manufacturers.
